Couples Therapy Online in the Philippines

Couples therapy is a 50-minute session on Google Meet where you and your partner talk through what is going wrong between you, with a professional who works with couples. That can be sex, the lack of it, a fight you keep having, an affair, or the distance that set in after a baby, a move or a long stretch of stress.

You book and pay online. You can come as a couple, or come alone first.

What couples bring to a session

  • One of you wants sex more often than the other.
  • You have stopped having sex, and neither of you knows how to bring it up.
  • An affair, or something that felt like one, and what happens now.
  • Sex that hurts, or sex one of you has stopped enjoying.
  • Arguments that go in circles: money, family, chores, phones, the in-laws.
  • Porn use that one of you is worried about.
  • Deciding whether to stay together, and how to separate well if you don't.

You don't need to arrive with the right words. Saying "we don't have sex anymore and I don't know why" is a fine place to start.

Who you can book

Each professional below sees couples. Their page lists what they focus on, the languages they speak and the regions they serve. Each offers an individual session and a couples session; the card shows the price of each.

Qualifications differ. Dr. Rica Cruz, Dr. Kay Bunagan and Ana Lou Panganiban, PhD, are psychologists. Anna Linde is a somatic sex educator and sex coach.

What a session is like

In the first session the professional asks each of you what brought you here and what you want to be different. Expect to be asked about sex directly: how often, what happens, what has changed.

You will each get time to speak. The professional is not there to decide who is right; they help you hear each other, and they may give you something to try at home before the next session.

Booking. Pick a professional above, choose a time on their page, and pay online. The price is on the card and on their page, in your currency, before you pay.

Before the session. Your booking confirmation tells you how to join. Depending on the service, you may be asked to fill in a short intake form so your professional knows what you want to talk about.

The session. 50 minutes on Google Meet, from wherever you have privacy. Sessions are strictly confidential.

Changing the time. Ask at least 48 hours before your session. Later changes may fall under the professional's own policy.

Questions people ask

Can I come to couples therapy on my own?

Yes. Many people start alone, because their partner isn't ready or because they want to sort out their own side first. Book an individual session with any professional on this page.

Does my partner have to be in the same room?

No. You can each join the same Google Meet from a different place or device.

How many sessions will we need?

That depends on what you are working on, and your professional will talk it through with you after the first session. You book one session at a time.

Do you only see married couples?

No. Married and unmarried couples, same-sex couples and people in non-monogamous relationships are all welcome.

How much does it cost?

Each professional sets their own fee, and couples sessions can cost more than individual ones. Both prices are on each card above, in your currency, and on the booking page before you pay.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you or someone else is in danger, or you are in a medical or mental health crisis, contact emergency services where you are.

Not sure which of you should book?

Either of you can. Compare the professionals on the consult page, or answer three questions and it will suggest who fits.
